On October 16, ACR Poker hosted an online charity tournament to support the United Breast Cancer Foundation (UBCF) as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The event featured a guaranteed prize pool of $15,000, with a buy-in of $55, and ACR Poker matched the final prize pool up to $15,000, significantly boosting contributions to the cause.
The tournament began at 6 PM ET and all proceeds were donated directly to UBCF, an organization dedicated to supporting individuals affected by breast cancer. Last year’s tournament raised $20,000 for the American Cancer Society, and ACR Poker aimed to surpass that achievement.
The event was live-streamed on ACR Poker’s Twitch channel, allowing viewers to follow the action. During the broadcast, $66 tickets to ACR Poker’s $1 million Guaranteed Venom Warmup tournament were given away to lucky viewers.
Prominent ACR Poker professionals Katie Lindsay, Ebony Kenney, and Svitlana “Svetarik” Dryha hosted the event. Lindsay recently achieved her career-best win at the Moneymaker Tour Aruba Main Event, while Kenney made four final tables in the OSS XL tournament series in September. Dryha joined ACR Poker’s first Team Online earlier this year.
ACR Poker continues to actively participate in global poker events, expanding its presence through high-stakes tournaments in various regions, including London and Montenegro. The recent charity tournament exemplified their commitment to both competitive poker and community support.
